What is the requirement for renting a car?
Driver must be 18 years or older and must possess a valid driver’s license from their country of origin. Driver under 21 years old must get a Collision Damage Waiver, Zero Deductible Supplement, and Loss of Use Waiver. Also, a valid major credit card is required.
Do I need an international driver's license to rent a car in Guam?
An international driver’s license alone is not acceptable when renting a car. Driver must have a valid driver’s license from the country of origin.
Do you have a hotel shuttle service?
Free shuttle service to and from hotels located within Tumon and Tamuning area during office hours, 8:45 to 16:30. Shuttle service can be provided to other areas subject to a service charge depending on the location. Please call our main office 1-671-646-1243 to make arrangements for pick up.
I am planning to travel for 3 nights and 4 days. How many days in advance do I need to book a rental car?
Due to limited number of vehicles, we advise you to send your reservation request early. Our reservation staff will get in touch with you through email.
Can I rent a car at the airport?
Nippon Rent A Car Guam does not have a business counter at Guam Airport.
I’d like you to pick me up at the airport.
Customer pick up at the airport is available from 9:00 to 16:30. A charge of $9 per person will be added to your invoice for the airport facility usage fee. Upon arrival at the airport, please call our main office at 1-671-646-1243 to make arrangements for pick up. Our staff will meet you at the east side of the arrival lobby area. Pick up and drop off must be arranged 3 or more days in advance to facilitate proper scheduling. Please provide flight details on your reservation.
Can I return my rental car at the airport or hotel parking area?
You can "drop off" vehicle at the parking area at Guam Airport or the hotel parking area. A fee of $25 will be added to your invoice for Guam Airport drop off. For drop off at the hotel parking area, a fee of $10 will be added to your invoice. Drop off of vehicle for both must have a CDW and ZDS upon rental. Some of the vehicles will not lock when the key is inside the glove compartment therefore we do not advise drop off at the Guam Airport. You can also drop off the key to the hotel front desk for safe keeping.
I'm arriving in Guam at midnight (early morning). Can I rent a car right away?

Please lend a mobile phone. I would like to lend two units if possible, is it possible?
We do not provide mobile phone rental.
I would like to know if it is possible to extend the rental, but if so, please tell me when to decide?

What is the economy model? I would like a 4-door, so please let me know.

What will happen if I borrow at 9am and return it at 9am the next day?
Rental fee is calculated at 1 day or 24 hours.
Does the car have car navigation?
The rental vehicle does not have built-in car navigation. We offer mobile car navigation for rent at $10 a day. Unit can handle multi languages - English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian, etc.
I'm thinking of a "Runrun Campaign". Is it possible to specify a vehicle type such as Yaris in economy class?
Runrun campaign is an economy class campaign. We will do our best to prepare a car of your desired model but in rare cases, you may be asked to use another model depending on availability.
How much does Runrun Campaign rental cost?
Runrun campaign is an economy class campaign. 1 day rental is $74, 2 days rentaI is $69 per day, and 3 days or more is $64 per day. The price includes full coverage insurance (CDW, ZDS, PRI, and LUW) and gifts (Burger King burger coupon, T-shirts, eco bags).
How old do you need a child seat/booster seat?
Children under the age of 4 must be secured in a restraint system (child seat). Children between 4 and 11 years old, who are less than 4 feet 9 inches or under 145 cm are required to use booster seat.
When will the cancellation fee be charged?
Cancellation charges of 100% during high season (12/25 to 1/7, 4/29 to 5/6, 8/7 to 8/20) on the same day of rental and 50% on the day prior to the rental.
